Amy receives Brown boost

Amy Winehouse received a boost when Prime Minister Gordon Brown came out and confessed to being a long time fan of the riotous vocalist.

Brown admitted being in awe of her vocal talents believing the negative press is singer unfair, maybe a reflection on his current situation.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror he said, 'Amy is incredibly talented, with an incredible voice. I'm a big fan. She may be troubled but as much as anything I think she is simply misunderstood.

'She (Winehouse) is as talented as she is misunderstood.

Jack Johnson releases Hope

Jack Johnson's new single will be 'Hope’, a track from his album Sleep Through The Static which has been No. 1 in the UK, USA and six other countries. It will be released by Brushfire/Island Records on Monday April 14.

Sleep Through The Static has now sold over 200,000 copies in the UK.
Jack Johnson returns to the UK in the summer to headline his very own concert in London’s Hyde Park on July 2, 2008. Jack will be supported by G Love & Special Sauce and Mason Jennings plus further guests to be announced.

In addition to this mammoth headline show, Jack will now play four more shows at Birmingham’s NIA on July 3, Newquay, Watergate Bay on July 5 and 6 and Manchester’s MEN Arena on 7 July.

The Newquay venue is situated on a stunning cliff top location overlooking Watergate Bay on the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall. The first Newquay show sold all 10,000 tickets in a few days so a second show was added.

Another great CD from Jack Johnson! Jack does it again in this "Hawaiian" experience of mentality (I'm from Hawaii like JJ so if you are then you'll understand). This CD seems it bit more somber then the other CD's he has produced that contain a more lively style. It was as though he was mourning something. Still the CD has a great fresh vibe and is a CD that you can listen to every song without skipping through because some are garbage because every song was nui loa(great). I highly recommend this CD to anyone who likes relaxing music from the islands of Hawaii.

Jack Johnson returns with an all-new studio album titled 'Sleep Through The Static’ and set for UK release on February 4, 2008.

The first single to be taken from the album will be 'If I Had Eyes’, released digitally next week on 25th December, and physically on 14th January 2008.

Jack Johnson’s In Between Dreams has now sold over 1,360,000 copies in the UK and his total worldwide sales are over 15 million!

In the two years since In Between Dreams came out, Jack has been spending time with his family, and focusing on the Kokua Hawaii Foundation which he started with his wife that focuses on recycling programs and education in Hawaii's schools.
